29-year-old Graphic Artist, Adetunji Deen is putting the finishing touches on Onetwosev, his sophomore graphic t-shirt line. "LOVE is the only label worth putting on a body."
Illestraider was born in the Hartford Art school Illustration studios. While there he learned the skills that currently put food on his table and pay his bills. He never chose a specific major or medium. He went from being a Fine Arts major to Graphic Design to Painting and finally Illustration. On that journey he learned to use a wide variety of mediums to express his ideas. His last college class was Dreamweaver. Like most of his electives (Algerbra, Trigonometry, Sources of Power) his advisor couldn't understand why he would want to take them. But Dreamweaver was the most valuable class he ever took. His first job after graduating was as a web designer using the skills he Iearned from that class. His boss helped him create Illestraider.com in 2005.
2007 He began freelancing for a variety of commercail t-shirt licencing companies in New York. He used his fine art skills to bring what i described as "the hand" to the licensse he was assigned to work on. He began spoofing his favorite artist in thier mediums putting his LOVE for art history into his work. Then a friend lent him a movie that would change his whole view of life. "Revolver", which is still his favorite movie of all time. It taught him the greatest lesson that he believes "should" be taught. "There are no enimies.
