Counter Notification (If You Believe You’ve Been Wrongfully Accused)

If a DMCA takedown notice has been submitted against you and you believe the material was removed in error or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification including:

  1. A description of the content that was removed and the location where it previously appeared.

  2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.

  3. Your name, address, phone number, and email address.

  4. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district, or if outside the United States, to the jurisdiction of any judicial district in which the service provider may be found.

  5. Your signature (physical or electronic).
