Trust No Bank™ — Anti-Establishment Brand

What if financial skepticism became a brand?

Inspired by currency engraving, vintage banknotes, anti-establishment movements, and growing distrust of centralized institutions, the project was developed as a complete merchandise-driven identity system. Rather than promoting a specific political ideology or financial product, the brand focuses on the broader themes of self-reliance, individual responsibility, and questioning the systems that shape everyday life.

The visual identity draws heavily from historic currency design, incorporating intricate line work, engraved typography, official seals, and government-issued aesthetics. These familiar elements are then recontextualized to challenge the very institutions they traditionally represent.

The centerpiece logo and supporting graphics were designed to feel simultaneously authoritative and rebellious—appearing at first glance like official financial imagery before revealing a message of skepticism and independence.

Developed as an original intellectual property, Trust No Bank™ demonstrates the process of building a merchandise brand from concept to execution, including brand identity development, typography, visual systems, and product applications across apparel and accessories.

The result is a cohesive collection that turns financial commentary into wearable design while exploring the relationship between trust, money, and modern institutions.
