The American Design Story
The American Design Story
For more than a decade, I've explored a single creative question:
What does America look like?
My journey began with American As F*ck (AAF), where I worked alongside a distributed team of designers, marketers, and creators coordinated through Slack and Trello under the leadership of Shawn Wylde. Together, we produced hundreds of pro-American graphics, merchandise concepts, and visual campaigns that reached audiences across the country.
During those years, patriotic design became more than a niche. It became a cultural movement. As national conversations intensified, American imagery, symbolism, and identity moved to the center of popular culture. Through apparel, typography, logos, and merchandise, I contributed to a visual language that resonated with millions of Americans.
As the political and cultural landscape evolved, so did my work. What began as straightforward patriotic graphics expanded into broader explorations of identity, nostalgia, history, freedom, and the symbols that shape the American experience.
Following my departure from AAF, I launched independent projects including Magastalgia and later America 1sters™, allowing me to develop a more personal creative voice while continuing to explore American themes through illustration, typography, branding, and merchandise design.
This collection documents that evolution. From early patriotic graphics to modern design systems, each piece represents a chapter in a continuing effort to tell the American story through visual design.
More than a political statement, these works are a creative record of how American culture, symbolism, and identity have influenced my work for over ten years.
